Cervical Mucus Before Week Period

Many of the discoveries we enjoy today are the result of chance, serendipity is the term applied to a discovery or a lucky and unexpected finding.
I tell if the microwave and safety glass windshields of cars.

The
MICROWAVE

The magnetron is the tube that produces microwave energy. Was an essential element in building the RADAR. Scientists tried to thwart the plans of the Nazi s was an element that contributed decisively to the defense of Britain during World War II.
One day in 1946, a Raytheon engineer Percy Spencer Company, was testing a magnetron tube when he reached into his pocket where he kept a bar of chocolate and found that it had melted into a sticky mess. Spencer knew that the magnetrons generate heat, but he had not noticed any heat. Even so, heat the magnetron could be the cause?
not worried about the stain on his pants, but intrigued by it all. So I sent for a bag of corn kernels near the magnetron put and within minutes got popcorn on the floor of the laboratory. The next morning, arrived at the lab with a dozen fresh eggs. Put one in a container with a hole aligned with the magnetron. A colleague, browsing, came too and found his face splattered egg. Spencer knew immediately that it had been boiled egg inside out and the pressure it had exploded.

Since it seemed clean, the assistant had not cleaned and had returned directly to the rack. Benedictus wrote a note, but forgot the incident.
The same week that discovery, a Paris newspaper published an article on the recent spate of car crashes, and when he read that almost all drivers were seriously injured due to the cuts he was inspired: It was 24 hours straight experiencing with layers of liquid crystals which are then applied to break: The next afternoon had produced the first piece of Triplex (safety glass) that appeared full of promise for the future. There were two sheets of glass enclosing a layer of cells between them.
builders cars showed little interest in these crystals, they said the driving safety depended mainly on the driver's hands, not the manufacturer. In fact, had been incorporated security measures to prevent accidents, but not to minimize damage if occurred.
The first application of this crystal was in gas masks. After the car manufacturers consider the success in the battlefield, the main application became, effectively, the windshields of cars.
However, this does not solve all the problems. In case of breakage, contact with the inside of the windshield could cause cuts in the skin. To prevent this, it was decided to add a second layer of plastic on the inside center. In 1987 he settled in some cars on a trial and the results were very promising. In a frontal collision, a woman's head hit the windshield that had this new layer. He suffered a concussion but had no cuts on the face or head.

Why Do I Have A Lot Of Moles

Televicio The Butterfly Effect 1x02

guess that almost everyone has heard about this concept ever, if only by seeing "Jurassic Park" or many other movies that mention or exploits: a butterfly flaps its wings in London and unleashed a tsunami in Hong Kong. That is, a minimum initial change may trigger a series of increasingly unpredictable consequences that end up producing an effect quite different than expected. Well, in the world of television could be stated as: "A housewife from Kansas City presses a button, and the world runs out of a work of art."

U.S. TV series reach the rest of the world only if they pass screening to have a respectable audience figures in that market. While in the movies there are projects that are funded with an eye on the international box office, which can save budget revenues at source in the peoplemeter TV is king only, but the scythe's ever producers.

Sometimes even earlier success ensures continuity in antenna. 'Heroes', for example, was canceled in February 2010 after 77 episodes in three and half years and despite finishing in cliffhanger. In September, even abandoned the idea of \u200b\u200bloose episodes more, or a TV movie to close the history of everything. Others manage to get bad who either completed a season, but there are finished. 'Flash Forward', for example, finished well, despite also use the trick of ending scheme to try to pit the interests of producers and the public.

What's 'Flash Forward' was actually sung, but what I said earlier that one can be without some works of art due to decisions of the American public is right. Series extraordinarily good as "Freaks and Geeks' or 'Studio 60' stayed in a single season despite showing great brilliance during his first dozen episodes.

Some make it to broadcast despite being unfinished, or even come to DVD, but others fail to achieve even that. Each fall there are several series that fail to Christmas, or even month. Outlined in the previous post had already dropped two issued after only two episodes ('Lone Star' and 'My Generation') and the other last eight have been shot, but was canceled after the fourth ('Outlaw'). 'Lone Star' in particular is a rare case of the critically acclaimed series but quickly canceled. It is quite possible that no one will even know about them, although it is true that there are "alternative means" to at least see for yourself what they were worth.

In previous years there were other projects that ended just as badly. It is well known for 'Firefly', the Joss Whedon's space western, at least approximately 14 episodes, but others like 'Smith', a series of robbers led by Ray Liotta, only got to shoot 7 episodes and issue 3. "EZ Streets", created in 1996 by Paul Haggis and starring Joe Pantoliano, about a cop and a mobster, was canceled after eight chapters and two starts. Pantoliano

Haggis and would become famous in the future, one for 'Million Dollar Baby', 'Crash,' 'Flags of Our Fathers "and the last two of 007, among others (and, ahem, 'Walker, Texas Ranger'), and the other to leave in 'Matrix', 'Memento' and 'The Sopranos', but even established names and successes behind him are forced to start from scratch with each project. Chris Carter, for example, after ten years of 'X Files', not let him go with 'Millennium' on New Year's Eve 1999, which is what would the series (he managed to Frank Black pulling a crossover episode with Mulder and Scully) and his third proposal, "Harsh Realm" about humans trapped in a world of virtual reality (one Terry "John Locke of Lost" O'Quinn) was clinched after shooting 9 episodes and issue 3.

Then there is the case of the series on pay TV or cable, where not only are there more creative freedom, but also more room in order to build a story that is necessarily obliged to engage viewers in each chapter. AMC channel especially since he has gotten into the series (the name originally means American Movie Classics), has specialized in long distance and stories told with a lot of pause. Beginning with 'Mad Men', followed by 'Breaking Bad' and finishing with 'Rubicon' this summer ', each one is slower than the last. And the first episode of 'The Walking Dead' fourth bet, just released, nor is it quick cane.

But the most famous is surely one of 'The Wire', which despite the small audience and being completely ignored by the Emmys, showed the same patience that his players to mount their wiretaps and has come to be considered possibly the best TV series ever, lasted five seasons on HBO. Because of its complexity and his refusal to explain things as if the spectators had six years has been a great series to watch once on DVD, for example, and is getting quite profitable post mortem. Is the reward that you sometimes have to trust in something.

Moreover, in the pay channels is a paradox: you might think that since it is paid, it requires better quality, but although of course that happens, there is also a target audience just watching a series that may not engage both to take the money you paid. Since I paid, at least I see the series. Which is increasing its audience.

Finally, the examples could go to nearly every series. Fortunately, a growing number ends when it should, leaving a good taste of the finished work, rather than squeezing the idea until people get tired and go see her leaving. But to get there, pass through the screen of the housewife in Kansas City.

Previously, on 'Televicio' ... review a lot of new series, but obviously I have no time or inclination to follow them all. So I started to discard from the deck, and the first to harness caérseme have been 'Nikita', 'No ordinary family', 'Chase' and 'Hawaii Five-O'.
What Your Excellency, what series have failed to see, now or in the past? What effects have led butterfly?

Facials Compilation Mobile

Televicio

Although American television series and new season premieres throughout the year, and no month without news, September is when many start them. And when I say many, I mean a score. So, in a spirit of public service to the illustrious readers of this column, I've seen the first three or four episodes of every new series premiered in the last month in the U.S. of A, and to justify the time and which appears has earned for something, I Endino the following summaries / impressions, in case anyone serves, to find what hooked. DRAMAS

Hellcats
This is a team of cheerleaders. At least they had the decency to be cheerleaders college, not high school, so instead of making tacos aunts of girls 24 to 16, will be only 18-19. That's something. The prota, Aly Michalka, is like a train, but the roll that "hate this, but I do it because life is a bitch and not many even try I'm the best" is a bit tiresome. In addition, it makes to pay the race, which is to be a lawyer, and the first four episodes and is the better for all, let the race, dance, sing or play football. "Soft Porn for teens," said one review. In other words, you will succeed. Terriers

of the best new proposals. Created by Shawn Ryan, who had 'The Shield', is a former cop and a former thief who come together to make a living as best they can, detective without a license, in cases, as one of the Protas "if they grew a couple of sizes would be petty." Here the bad guys are ordinary people but those with peel. Something that has them. Good performances and actors need not be runway models before getting on camera.

Nikita was first a novel, then a French film, then an American movie, then a series, and now another set. Moral: it's the tough chick in high heels spreading wood, and multiple excuses to go in different dresses in cocktail Ferrero Rocher ambassador never fails to make morbidity. This time at least gives Maggie Q stick with martial arts, but as the episodes pass all depends on how much they will the pot with the conspiracies. To change something, Nikita here no longer works for the Division, but is trying to sink it from outside, on a case. The first episode ends with a twist pretty rigged, but it is business as usual: the good or the good always win, do not give them bullets and Smite all opponents without much problem, to do the same to the next episode. Outlaw

The first episode was a big disappointment. "Jimmy Smits as a lawyer" is surely the premise that he sold the series, and should be sufficient, because it is a much better actor, but they have come out dreadful. Many episodes of trials have holes pretty incredible, but this more than anyone. The main character begins as a judge of the Supreme and defender just sentenced to death, while giving time to a different brush for each chapter. Among the side is the almost obligatory research aunt, this time not to repeat how good she is (not both pa), the 'badass' that is, bisexual what it is and how much of the office repeinao has it impossible to her. Slap it has. Kalinda is where 'The good wife' ... The same has been the shock of not seeing a papelazo Smits as well written as 'The West Wing' and 'NYPD Blue', among others, but thankfully the second episode, with a case based on a law Arizona immigration real, quite takes flight.

(Edit: It was canceled after four episodes. Another four had been shot rather than be burned on the air for the next four Saturdays, traditionally the elephant graveyard of the American series.) Boardwalk Empire

Best of new, very far. HBO, Martin Scorsese, Prohibition, Steve Buscemi. Result: four aces. This is one of the great ages of the mafia, in the 20's, with alcohol banned, its gang wars, its corrupt politicians, their guns, their hats, their trucks, their bad whiskey, clubs hidden his Caruso singing opera ... Nothing is missing, and have time left over to delve the characters. Scorsese directs the first episode to establish tone, and produces the rest personally see each image shot. The American press, which has already seen 6 episodes, says he is the bomb of the season. The event

Following the success of 'Lost' and the failure of 'Flash Forward' comes another type of "here's something wrong and consparanoico, but we'll take a year to tell you doing Twister." In fact, by the end of the first episode, did not even know the famous "event", and after four and cast is not too clear yet. Only something goes wrong with a plane mu. I do not know if people have patience for this again. FF just arrived the end of the first season set the brake base, rewritten, advertise that he would put on the brakes and rewrite, and keep people half way if not until when we realized, was the end of the season. The trick was not worth making a cliffhanger to renew it. The second episode is pretty good, however. Lone Star

One that I liked, so original. Will a pair of con men, father and son, whom we meet in the middle of two fat scams fake land sales and even more false actions. The father is old school conviction of those who have no pity for their victims, but the son has a heart. And a bf in each thymus, which makes living two lives parallel, plus yours truly. I do not know if there is enough material for an entire series, because the danger would be to reduce everything to a succession of clever punt the ball to stop the hunt, but so far it deserves IRLA following. Has had very good reviews.

(Edit: She has been canceled after two episodes.)

Hawaii Five-0
never saw the original 70, so do not compare. It is one of cops, shooting, chasing, punches, jumps, explosions, all in beautiful setting (ie, the anatomy of Grace Park, formerly of 'Battlestar Galactica'). I guess every week will catch some mindundi while moving in the background if they carried all season on his father's death of someone. Daniel Dae Kim, after six years filming "Lost" in Hawaii as well and takes up residence there and everything.

Chase to pursue a bad throughout Texas. The scheme is: the bad steals and kills, the marshals are investigating, steals and kills the bad guy again, and the marshals investigate a little more, and gradually the marshals are approaching the bad while it continues to kill, until, after putting think face in front of a table and play some keys on the PC, guess where to go next, and go and get caught. I hope you do not abuse the blonde five feet tall and thick as a can-spanking little sheepskins uncles take him two feet, but in the first episode is already done. Twice. Detroit 1-8-7

The police gender bar is really high, so it is difficult to excite all new series. This may come to something, especially because it comes Michael Imperioli, formerly of 'The Sopranos'. You may want to do with Detroit as 'Homicide' or 'The Wire' did to Baltimore, starting to roll in situ, rather than any city in Canada, but so far it seems to aspire to that. Has two cases per episode, with its scene of the crime, his interrogation, his final confession and prompt resolution. The defenders

Lawyers in Las Vegas. Which will always be an excuse to take a couple of cleavage from time to time. Another Olympian goes to the credibility of the cases and serves mostly as a vehicle for half funny scenes of interrogation and legal tricks. In addition, a lawyer and a prosecutor are bundled and input. It's almost more a comedy than a serious series, but without reaching descoque of 'Boston Legal' and 'Ally McBeal'. The whole truth

Go surfeit of lawyers. This, however, is little point of interest, since it raises the case from the point of view of both the defense and the prosecution, with an emphasis on how each one looks to get win, the defendant is guilty or not, almost is not important. Normally legal series follow the law, and these, because proteases, almost always win, but you can win either. So each episode will have four possible endings: the accused is convicted and he did, guilty and did not, innocent and he did, or innocent and did not. You can make pools and everything. After each verdict, the final image will reveal "the whole truth", and therefore if the verdict was correct or not. Moreover, counsel and the prosecutor were the beat of race, so there will be little theme too. Rob Morrow Pena overreact, with the slope, his tie knotted and wrong not to shave, but the issue saves Maura Tierney, once one recovers from the shock of seeing her hairstyle as a kid of ten years. Long hair rejuvenates women. To see when they find them all.

Undercovers
black couple are young, beautiful and retired secret agents who decide to de-withdraw for the good of the country and this and that. Mismatch all the wrongs and kill all the bad guys as they talk about their areas of wedding couples in Andalusia, Parisian rooftops and Russian plants (the English terrorist group is milk Supreme Truth). And all without leaving the restaurant to take them as a lid. Total, having BlackBerries ... It is noted that it is JJ Abrams. The main character, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, another Vidal i shere. And yes, it is called Gugu. My generation

A group of kids from a Texas institution they made a documentary at age 18 in 2000 and now in 2010 they want to make another to see how it goes. The idea is very interesting, and even more so because it has done in real life, but as a series of fiction gives no hit at all. Although they spend half the episode running from camera (why accept out then?), They can think too much and too great in front of them, despite yaa know they are there, say things that would not be said with such joy . Despite the dancing of the cameras to fake realism, they do not lose anything and you can hear everything perfectly. It is too unnatural and too much weight to the credibility of the story.

(Edit: canceled after two episodes)

Another Blue bloods more than cops. Many cops. Is the grandfather, father and two brothers, plus another who died. And sister, a lawyer, to make matters worse. So it is not strange that when they get together for "Sunday dinner", ten minutes no one left on the table. As seen in the pilot, there will be a weekly event type kidnap a baby, how far would you go to release it? "And a long pattern of conspiracy about a group of cops who take the law into their own hands under the table. As we are in New York, roll 11-S, terrorism, torture, etc, which fills all USA, here it soaks everything even more. It can be a great role for mustache Tom Selleck. Shattered

A Canadian series about a cop with mental problems, it appears that multiple personalities, you go and you come in through the case. He seems to have many means, nor offer anything particularly special. The truth is that it have only seen one episode. No ordinary family

whole family involved in natural disaster suddenly have powers. In other words, a superhero, but as a family. The father, with Michael Chiklis, ends up being a mix of The Thing in 'Fantastic Four' (including comic relief) and Vic Mackey from 'The Shield'. The mother is the bf of Dexter in 'Dexter'. Children are directly strangle them, and now have over powers. Pa what else. COMEDY

to me with comedies truth is that I am in good shape. I laugh even with the 'Scary Movie'. Yes, there are classes, if Monty Python, that if Billy Wilder, if Woody Allen, and such, but any series is so bad, it has at least a couple of jokes that make you laugh if you're not willing to no. Here the critics tend to stick sticks to spray and pray, but overall, is 20 minutes. Relax, baby.

Better with you is the couple who spent 35 years, leading to 9 years and has 7 ½ weeks. However, before querelle José Luis Moreno for plagiarism, achieve remedy the situation. I guess scenes that abound in which the three couples make the same question or comment and react differently, but I hope they go further. Or, Moreno will sue.

(Edit: That's exactly how every episode starts)

Mike and Molly
A fat and fat are known in "Overeaters Anonymous" and suppose to be shot all season if they are bundled or not. Most of the jokes, of course, go on fat and food. But hey, it's a sitcom. No get mad, huh? Outsourced

A Kansas City office moves its call center to India. So there goes the kansino, to deal with the Indians (people of India are called Indians, not Hindus. That Sepp). Has great potential of being called racist about ten or twelve times per episode, but, hey, it's a sitcom. No get mad, huh? Raising Hope

A white trash rednecks who clapped them the script were not expecting a baby. Please note that the humor can be a bit thick at times (for example, throw up a baby.) However, when not abused the same joke about how incompetent are the panda legs as parents and grandparents, is quite original.

(Edit: First new series renewed for the remainder of the season)

Wilde
Running Back to the screens that made 'Arrested Development' truly a series of worship (which means that there are people who love and people who have never heard of it). The type of humor a bit weird, but well-studied screenwriting and millimeters, is inherited from her, but stops short of both, or even with Will Arnett (GOB) repeating the role of incompetent heir. But for those who have mono AD, may be worth a while. Shit

my dad says
Officially called'$#*! my dad says, 'which has caused has DVR devices can not record because they do not recognize the symbols. The idea came out, the parrot, a Twitter account where a guy gets all the ewes that hears his old father. Racist, sexist, without touching any with the kids ... People are engaged and have done a series. But since this is American TV, most of the things the original Twitter are so gross that they can not use. The main character is William 'original Captain Kirk' Shatner, which already has 78 blocks, not the looks, really. Will both space travel. ANIMATION

Sym-bionic

From Genndy Tartakovsky titan the animated series of Clone Wars. This is a princess from another planet lost planet with a kind of Luke and a robot bodyguard, who pursue the evil of another planet, or the same, I dunno, but ill, and the Princess and Luke and camouflaged robot students of institutions, but found, then all three can raise their minds and make a big robot that looks 'Mazinger Z' mixed with 'Akira', breaking and destroying entire towns and milk. A little too round pot, I think.

So, for those who do not have time for everything, prioritize and recommend:

1 - Boardwalk empire
2 - Terriers
3 - Lone star (the couple of episodes but whatever)
4 - The whole truth
5 - Blue bloods
6 - The event
7 - Outlaw
8 - Chase
9 - No ordinary family
10 - Undercovers
11 - The defenders
12 - My generation (which will last very little)
13 - Hawaii Five-0
14 - Nikita
15 - Hellcats
16 - Shattered

1 - Running Wilde
2 - Raising Hope
3 - Outsourced
4 - Mike and Molly
5 - Better with you
6 - Shit my dad says
Although
who likes cheerleading, because nothing cheerleaders.

Has anyone hooked one of these new?

Ulises New Fall / Perseus

'Ulysses / Perseus' Jean-Pierre Vernant

Polity Press, 2010

This is a tiny book, that if it is because the 126 pages is small, with plenty of room, font large and wide spacing. As the subtitle announces the cover, "Short lecture on the heroes of antiquity ' simply contains the transcription of two public appearances of the author, speaking of the two heroes of the title.

Vernant (1914-2007) was a historian of ancient Greece, the influential philosopher in his native France and war hero in the Resistance against the Nazis. The two conferences transcribed in the book occurred in 2001 and 2003, when he was already an octogenarian. Surely the aim of the book, published in 2004, before his death, with the original title of 'Ulysse suivi Perseus. Petit conférence sur la Grèce ', is to serve as a tribute to an old and respected intellectual, hearing him talk about his favorite topics, so it's a shame that contains very little to contribute to lovers of the Greek classics. The vast majority of both conferences consist of a summary of the adventures of Odysseus and Perseus, insurance of school: "Listen, guys, I'm not used to talking to people your age: I am a very old man, a great-grandfather. Ago early twenties, I told these stories to my grandson, who now teaches, and has already surpassed the 30. " It is very endearing to hear what the old expert retelling the stories of a lifetime, but on paper and translated, the effect is lost somewhat. Page after page tells us what they did both heroes who summarizes and a book or a movie, which most readers and known. If not, maybe this book will serve to awaken interest in the original stories, but the usefulness of this volume in particular is extremely limited.

The two conferences are followed by several questions from the audience, and maybe there is something more human, and personal enrichment. When inevitably asked how he became interested in Greek mythology, Vernant says,

"was still a schoolboy back in the 1920's, when Carnot was in high school. I studied Greek, I remember it was in a in the final year of high school when we translate the 'Odyssey', and in particular the song that appears in Nausicaa. I remember how, as a child, I have written somewhere, "I was thrilled with the encounter of Odysseus and Nausicaa: (...) " Girl, do not know if you are a goddess or a mere mortal I've never seen anything (...). as beautiful as you, except when I felt the same astonishment of admiration old, in Delos, when I saw a young palm tree which stood, tall, directly into the sky. And you, you look like that palm tree and I have the same sense of wonder admiration. " I saw that, I saw that scene, the stream, washing clothes girls, Nausicaa ... Later, during much of my life, I was surprised when looking at them and ran into them, with those young girls who did not know beautiful, slim and young, looked through the eyes of Ulysses, like a young slender palm up, directly into the sky. "

is a small gem of memory-the art learned in school influence the perception of the future real world, that he who has shared his own experience understand perfectly the feeling evoked. Generations of students would feel the same, and writers from across Europe and Latin America, as Javier Marias, Nelida Piñon or Arturo Perez-Reverte, wrote similar scenes of School admiration for passages translated from Greek. Who would not have been something, because I never had to translate the Greek, or because the 'Odyssey' you look like an unbearable torture, it shows a picture of how arcane and ancient things were before, and what was lost. Although you can always recover. If it helps this small tribute of book publication and a lifetime of study, have not been in vain.

Building A Supercritical Co2 Extractor

1x01 Televicio How only two hours? (Pilot) Adaptation

Since I threw the English football column in the Times, I'll put another, different freak: series television address to fantasymundo.com.

time ago I wrote in the forum of a film magazine an entry with the same title, talking about the growing importance of television series. Historically, in terms of production of fictions, a the television has been regarded as the little sister, the second division, the place where they actors, directors and writers who do not fit in the film, either because they never came or it is past his prime.

However, in the last decade and a half the U.S. networks, both free and paid, have produced a lot of series of such quality as the best film, and often more. Basten few titles to refresh memory: 'Mad Men,' 'Dexter,' 'Lost', 'Galactica', 'House', 'The West Wing', 'The Sopranos',' Six Feet Under, "" Deadwood ',' Roma ',' The Wire ',' The Shield ', '24 hours', 'CSI' 'Law & Order,' 'ER,' 'NYPD Blue', 'X-Files ... And personally I would add these 'Breaking Bad', 'True Blood' or 'Sons of Anarchy. " Others may be inclined to 'Grey's Anatomy', or multiple series of fantasy, as 'Smallville,' 'Buffy', 'Supernatural', etc etc. And that's without getting into tele, we could also. There is something for all tastes, and each added their own (in fact, I invite readers to do - and remember that the list is limited to the last fifteen years).

The main difference between film and television series is, of course, duration, and it goes title. While it may be, and indeed there are movies that are well told in the space of a couple of hours, and do not need more time, a series can extend the time to explore their characters. There are series that once they establish their main characters in the early chapters, and not move, and it comes down to the number of things that can happen to them before returning at the end of each episode to its original state so that the next team of writers can use them, but others take advantage of all those extra hours to take their characters from a starting point to another are no longer the same. As said Christopher Moltisanti (Michael Imperioli), in 'The Sopranos' when he was lost his life and wanted to write scripts: "The characters have an arc, Pussy." Where's my arc? ". "I'll tell you who had a bow, Christopher," replies gangster. "Robin Hood." Series

long haul, such as 'Emergency', which lasted 15 seasons, had time to do anything with their characters. Within the framework to reflect a shift work, for which you have to be prepared no matter what happens to you, there have been deaths, divorces, marriages, births, expulsions, removals, fights, complaints and everything imaginable. Every player that has been going (in real life because the actor wanted to do something else or because farmers no longer needed) leaving behind much of what was in his first appearance. All that life can not be in a movie.

Some series even try to do both things at once. 'X Files', for example, was famous for having two types of episodes: some were those who called for "mythology", which appeared CSM, Skinner, and the main villains of the big alien conspiracy, which was moving slowly , and the others were the fans nicknamed the "monster of the week", where Mulder and Scully are sitting in front of a mutant lizard, a tree murderer or a guy who eats cancers in chapters that were resolved in 42 minutes and returned them to their FBI office.

Interestingly, in the film, at the same time, it has recently been giving a large increase in the sagas, which could offer the same possibility for the characters from the big screen. However, not being exploited in the same way. While yes Harry Potter is growing up, learning and coming to a different point in his fictional life (because it does in the original novels), that continuity is not complied with Batman, 007 or 'Friday 13', probably because unlike of the above, these sagas are not designed from start to finish by the same mind or even the same team. Furthermore, the mentality is different: you go to the cinema to see a "Superman", not necessarily to see that known to be the fourth or fifth or new or reset of Superman, while in a series, part of the interest is to have followed the characters from the beginning. In 'Mad Men' or 'Roma', for example, no matter what event we are not interchangeable as they are in 'The Simpsons', where 22 seasons later, Bart is still 10 years.

Well, here the pilot episode of this series (column). If someone wants to go read more about series and movies, you can do on my blog (http://videoergoscribo.blogspot.com/). Readings are welcome, suggestions and comments. Continue.
